IGA Round Up for Change

IGA selects a featured local nonprofit each month, and United Way is proud to participate. But the Round Up for Change program benefits nonprofits throughout Juneau year-round, so we encourage you to participate whenever you shop. Rounding up your change is a small act with a real community impact.

The Local Frequency

The Local Frequency app makes it easy to support local nonprofits while you shop at locally owned businesses around Juneau. Set up Local Change to round up your purchases and direct donations straight to United Way of Southeast Alaska. 100% of proceeds go to the nonprofit you choose. Memorials, Milestones, and More

Some of the most meaningful gifts we've received came from the most unexpected moments - a birthday, a personal challenge, a season of reflection. Whether you want to ask for United Way donations in lieu of flowers at a memorial service or celebrate a big milestone by turning it into an opportunity to give back, we'd love to help you make it personal. Workplace Campaign

The United Way workplace campaign unites employees in all offices or branches of a company, and gives them an opportunity to donate, volunteer and speak out for causes that matter to them. If your employer participates in our annual workplace campaigns, talk to your CEO or Human Resources Department, and ask how to make a donation. Planned and Financial Gifts

Qualified Charitable Distributions and Gifts In-Kind

If you'd like to make a tax-advantaged gift directly from an IRA (a Qualified Charitable Distribution) or contribute non-cash assets, we're happy to work with you and your financial advisor to make it happen. Please contact your advisor for guidance, and reach out to us at any time.
